This 4 slice toaster has extra wide slots and can take very thick toast. The Kitchenaid Proline toaster has a fine stainless steel toaster finish, and with the colors it is a strong contender for the best toaster in our toaster reviews. 4 slice toasters don't come much better than this, and with the keep warm function, your golden, evenly toasted thick cut toast can stay warm until you are ready for it, in the event that you are delayed while cooking. This is really handy and it makes getting toast ready with other parts of a cooked breakfast a breeze. Simply set your toaster, and forget it until you are ready to plate up. This Kitchenaid Proline Toaster is a great 4 slice toaster, and as a brushed stainless steel toaster it looks the part and fits in with the best toasters in the four slice toaster market.

The Kitchenaid Proline 4 slice toaster we reviewed also came with a crumb tray that caught almost all the crumbs from the bread that we were toasting, was easy to access, and the Kitchenaid Proline 4 Slice toaster cord was easy to keep out of the way and have less clutter on the kitchen counter. This is a great toaster, having both the looks (especially with all the funky colors available) and the ability to generate golden evenly toasted toast, slice after slice. The second model performed very well and we loved this stainless steel toaster, especially with the funky colors. While we thought this would be the best toaster in our toaster reviews of 4 slice toasters, this model was surpassed by the Dualit 4 Slice Toasters, however the question for you to decide on is whether or not the slight improvements that the Dualit has over the Kitchenaid Proline 4 Slice Toaster is worth nearly twice the price. In our view it probably isn't worth that much of a price hike, but as with most things, this is up to the individual concerned and depends very much on whether you want the best of the best, or if you can compromise and stick with something that does the job, and looks good while doing it, like the Kitchenaid Proline 4 Slice Toaster.
